Steam says 26 October 2026. The appdetails field coming_soon was false, and the store page let me reach a purchase button. That is the date this guide uses.
The earlier research recorded IMDb's entry as titled Giggleland (Video Game 2024) and its release line says 24 December 2024 in the United States. I am not going to explain that away as "just the year the page was created." It conflicts with Steam. Treat the IMDb date as an unreliable early listing.
Release records and their limitations
| Source | Date it shows | How I treat it |
|---|---|---|
| Steam app 3370490 | 26 October 2026 | Current release |
| IMDb tt37538090 | 24 December 2024 | Conflicts with Steam |
| giggle.land | Still says "soon" | In-universe page, not a news desk |
| Demo app 3659070 | 8 June 2025 on a Wayback copy | Demo launch, not the full game |
Was it delayed or cancelled?
I did not find a Steam notice that the full game was cancelled. It is on sale. Older posts that still say "upcoming" are reading wiki.gg or giggle.land, both of which stopped before launch. The wiki's content pages I checked were last touched in May and June 2025.
YouTube's gameplay-trailer publish metadata is 14 October 2026 (13:00 PDT). A file timestamp is not evidence of a public announcement date. Steam lists the game release as 26 October 2026; no exact launch hour is confirmed here.
Questions
Is Giggleland cancelled?
No. Steam listed it as released on 26 October 2026 when I checked the next day.
Why do some sites say 2024?
IMDb prints 24 December 2024. That line disagrees with Steam, so this guide does not use it.
