The short description ends with "This game is not suitable for children." That is the studio's line, and it is clearer than any number. Early reviews mention jumpscares in the first chapter. I am not going to score the scare from 1 to 10.
ESRB's search, checked the same day for the name Giggleland, returned no ratings. Do not invent an "M for Mature" badge. The regional values below are Steam-generated metadata, not independently verified board certificates.

Germany's 6 and Indonesia's 18 are not a contradiction I can smooth over. They are regional fields generated on Steam, with different descriptors. No independent USK certificate was verified. For a child, read the developer warning and actual content descriptions rather than treating any one regional number as a universal recommendation. I would not hand this to a young child on the strength of the German 6.
