The search demand here is real: people want someone to "solve" the lore. The honest version of that page is a list of claims with the person who made them, and a hard line under what Steam actually printed.
Game Theory posted "The New Giggleland ARG is DISTURBING" on 31 May 2025, before the game shipped. A January 2025 analysis and a June 2025 follow-up from the same channel are also linked below; the January video predates the May upload. I am not transcribing them. Timestamps belong to the videos. A sentence on this page would just be my summary of someone else's summary.
Theories I keep seeing, and the label they get
- Ella is imaginary and stands in for Debbie. The wiki already calls this heavily theorized.
- Tolie is Sarah, or is built from Sarah. The wiki only mentions a possible likeness.
- Eliot is Simon, or is the only villain. Not a Steam claim.
- Eliot is dead. The earlier gravestone observation was not corroborated during this recheck, so it is not used as proof of a character fate.
- The post-credits "welcome back" line announces a sequel. It is a line in a scene. I will not upgrade it.
